How the EDA is responding to the coronavirus

The Environmental Design Archives is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for our team and helping our patrons to do the same. As such, we are closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak according to the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and the University of California, Berkeley.

Currently, the EDA is not scheduling any in-person research. We are however offering remote reference services where someone from our staff can help accommodate research needs. Please send any research/reference inquiries to designarchives@berkeley.edu.

The EDA will not reopen to researchers until after Tuesday, April 7 or later in alignment with campus and county directives. This also means that our Gallery Talk: "MEGAFOLIES PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE" scheduled for March 31st is canceled.

Please take care of yourselves, do your part to “flatten the curve,” and slow the spread of COVID-19, respect those around you in accordance with our Principles of Community, and stay up to date on COVID-19-related developments on campus

Thank you for your understanding,

EDA Team
